GCSE to A-Level Transition
Crucial support is provided through the transition from KS4 to KS5 which becomes necessary after a gap of a few months. Key units of work from GCSE levels and Further Maths are taught to enable tutees to be A-Level ready.
A-level
Higher-order mathematical and problem-solving skills, linked to real-life applications and their implications in developing an understanding of prospective career choices are mainly organised at this stage.
The course work and support enable goal-setting, involve extensive coverage of subject coursework, dedication to dept of understanding, extensive practice, guidance to various resources, regular allocation of homework and frequent feedback. All these are aimed at making young individuals highly self-motivated in developing command over the subject.
